We want you to be happy with your order. If something isn’t right, here’s exactly how returns and refunds work at Sundowner Supply.
Cooling-off period (South African law)
Under the Consumer Protection Act, you have 5 business days from the day you receive your order to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason, as long as the item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Contact us within this window and we’ll arrange the return.
Extended 30-day returns
Beyond the cooling-off period, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unused items in original packaging with all tags and accessories included. This covers change-of-mind returns as well as faulty items.
What is not eligible
- Items that have been used, installed, or show signs of wear
- Products missing original packaging, manuals, or accessories
- Items marked as final sale at checkout
Faulty or damaged items
If your Field Bar, SMEG, or Stanley item arrives damaged or develops a genuine fault, contact us immediately with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no cost to you — this is separate from, and in addition to, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act and any manufacturer warranty.
How to start a return
Email us at the address on our Contact page with your order number and the reason for return. We’ll confirm the return address and next steps within 1-2 business days.
Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected the returned item, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds typically reflect within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
Return shipping
For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. For faulty or incorrect items, we cover the cost.
