The Quencher is a car-and-desk tumbler. The FlowState lid is built for easy drinking and the base is sized to sit in a cupholder, which tells you what it is for: the commute, the desk, the long drive to the coast. What it is not is sealed — the lid is not fully leak-proof, and the tumbler is meant to travel upright rather than roll around loose in a bag.Sizes are usually quoted in ounces. 30oz is about 0.89L and suits a smaller bag, a tighter cupholder and anyone who refills as they go; 40oz is about 1.18L and is the one to take if you would rather fill up in the morning and stop thinking about it. Measure your cupholder before going up a size.If you need something you can pack on its side, look at Stanley bottles instead — those seal properly.
